Happy Holidays to All!

I hope everyone has a joyous holiday season and a great New Year! There are some cool things in the works here at Forgotten Weapons, and I am looking forward to a 2016 that is even better than 2015! Today, however, I am taking a day off (and you should too).

  1. Happy Holidays, Ian. Really appreciate all you efforts and talent in exposing us (and particularly me) to all the interesting firearms history that is out there. I look forward to all your postings and read them with great relish. Walt

  2. Ian:

Merry Christmas and a Happy New Year.

I know you are busy opening presents today but tomorrow I am trying to get more
information on Confederate Hall rifles. I think I have id’d one in a friends casual collection,
to him it was just a representative Hall, but I think it is CSA.

We are going to be shooting it soon, this one I am going to get a video of, The stock was cut and completely dry rotted, but the metal is in antique VG condition with strong rifling.
so he purchased a very nice repro stock and no it looks like it should.

  3. Thank you for all the wonderful information , a real education on stuff you would never get to see in the detail you provide.

  4. Merry Christmas and Happy New Year to everybody. I wonder if there is a Stevens favorite target rifle in Santas car for me?

  5. Merry Christmas, Ian. You deserve a day off considering all you do for us the rest of the year. 🙂

And the same to all the rest of the posters here at FW. Enjoy the day, guys.

    cheers

  6. Happy and prosperous New year to all at FW debates!

Hopefully we will not see a new major conflict in coming year and ‘weapons’ (there are much more destructive ones than small arms) will be just a matter of technical curiosity.

Ian on his page s doing a masterful job at that. Let’s wish him success!
