Holster Review & Contest: Louisville Leather

Ryan Kuhl at Louisville Leather is a customer holster maker putting out a very nice product. We got one of his holsters for review, and I’m very impressed with it. He makes a wide variety of designs, has excellent attention to detail in his work, and has very short wait times (unlike most customer leather folks). His web site could use some improvement, but his holsters are top notch – he will be the guy I call for my next holster.

Want to win a free holster?

I’m definitely keeping my Tokarev holster, but Ryan agreed to make a second holster to order for one of you guys. Take a look at his web site, and pick out the holster type and gun that you would like to have. Then find a cool vintage photo featuring a holster (and not copyrighted) and send it to me to use in a Vintage Saturday post. I’ll pick the best photo, and Ryan will make a holster to order for the person who sent it in. Not too hard, right?

The contest will be open for a week – the deadline for sending me a photo is 6pm PST on Friday, February 17th. I’ll announce the winner Saturday morning (the 18th). Good luck!
