As usual, I have a recap today of the final prices of the guns I filmed form the most recent Julia auction (fall 2017). While there was the usual wide variety of guns in this sale, my videos tended to focus on machine guns and Confederate Civil War arms.
And yet another day I wish I could afford any of the items shown. Too bad my income won’t cover the costs.
As I can see, collecting firearms is a culture onto itself. For one, that Armstrong wundergun is worth of mildly used Ferrari. I would expect the Puteax gun to be hotly contested, but I am not a collector and good for me. 🙂
Better to buy these guns and then give them to museums. Then we can all look at them. So much better than being locked away and then sold again and then…locked away.
